    I'm right down the road from you. I start my seeds in November and will put them in the ground early March. I will move the seedlings from the starter cups into a larger container at least once before going in the ground.

    Miracle Gro or Dyna Gro 7-9-5?

    So glad this subject came up!! been using the MG Tomato fert forever and went to WormsWay yesterday and got a jug of the Grow formula. At 1/2tsp per gallon this stuff should last a while. My plants are full of green pods and if it ever stops raining here I'm gonna start with the DynaGrow!!!

    Florida Growers What potting mix do you like for your peppers?

    I'm in central Fl. also and have been using plain ole Miracle Grow potting soil mixed with perilite, about 2/3 to 1/3 ratio.     shade Shade Cloth

    I'm in central Fl. also and have been using 50% shade cloth for the last 4 years. Can't imagine plants surviving without it. These summers are brutal on the plants and they get that "wilted" look even under the shade cloth, go for it!!!

    Not trying to hijack this thread but I just received my plants from Piedmont Farms, they also look just like the plants above. I got 2 new to me plants this year, Ghengis Khan Brain and 7Pot Wreckingball  Got plants from piedmont last year also, very satisfied!
