    I broke out the 007 stick burner for this cook.  Oak was the wood of choice.   Lamb shanks were marinated in olive oil, rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt/pepper.     About 1 hour in.     Braising in Guinness, bell pepper, garlic, and onion.     Spares done.

    Part II: Droopy Heirloom Tomato Plants

    This is just an update on these plants which aren't getting any better.  Is this a possible calcium related problem?  They aren't dry for lack of water.  Growing in Happy Frog potting soil under a 400-watt HPS light.  No fert.

    I've never gotten one to germinate.  Tips?  I use the typical covered mini-greenhouse on a heating mat.
