    Withered leaves from heat/Burned leaves

Agreed, just leave em be. They look fine as of now, and will likely grow right through it without a hitch.

    Freezing Super Hots?

You can leave the seeds, and stem if you want. They will be best for cooking and sauces dethawed, as they will no longer have their crunch. I freeze most of mine - I rinse them first, then let em dry... That way I can go right from the freezer to whatever I'm making.

    chinense Reapers

I've got 4 reaper plants right now, and there is definitely some pod variations. Yours look right up to par. I have some that look perfect, some small, smoke large, some with long tails, etc all coming from the same plants. I don't think that the strain is as stable as we were led to believe...

What are some nice flavorful peppers to use practically in food for the average person?

My vote is Fresno. I love those peppers. Super sweet with a red bellish type flavor, yet have a hit just higher than a jalapeño.

    garden vs. containers

To each their own I suppose. I really feel that in ground plants should be better off, but it's just not the case with me. For some reason I can never get the in ground plants the same as my containers. Possibly it's that I have more control with the containers, or maybe a multitude of factors...

    vendor JutsFL Reapers Review

Glad you guys like them! I never intended to sell pods, but I have such an over abundance this year that it only makes sense. I'm very glad that everyone enjoys them, they all get my undivided attention in growing - as they were all grown for just myself originally. I'm happy that a few others...

Wow, that was a mistake (what mistakes have you made?)

I don't know if it's been used before, but it's the first time I've her the phrase 'chili willy' in this respect! Awesome! We've all been there, and hated it. The term is now coined in my book. ...although - I'll never see this childhood character the same again :/

New sauce, and first time pickling some peppers

Read the whole attached thread, I'll be doing it different next time now. Appreciate the response, sounds like my peppers will be better for the next round now.

    Magnesium sulphate question.

I do not believe I've ever seen a difference in my plants from adding Mag either, but the difference would arise if there were to be a deficiency. I amend my ferts with it as a preventative measure. It's easy enough, and one of the cheapest ferts you can buy - added to the fact that it's...

New sauce, and first time pickling some peppers

Good to hear that the pickle crisp works well. As for the sauce, it was very basic: about 50 fresno's, about 50 or more Takunatsume, 5tbs garlic (minced), 4tbs salt, and white vinegar (not sure on amount for this one, it was just enough to near the top of the peppers - likely in the 4cup...

New sauce, and first time pickling some peppers

I've never actually pickled any until today. I used some HHWax peppers of mine, and just kind of winged the rest after looking it up. I boiled vinegar, salt, and some garlic - then poured it over the peppers. Then proceeded to hot water bath. And I added some 'pickle crisp' made by Ball, it's...

    Magnesium sulphate question.

Sounds about right. And I usually hit mine with it once every two weeks.

    Magnesium sulphate question.

Mixed in water is perfect for mag. I go with 1tbs/gal when watering (fertilizing).

Wow, that was a mistake (what mistakes have you made?)

...easy Eating my first reaper some time back, and not being prepared for the onslaught I was about to encounter. I was FAR underprepared for face melting destruction that ensued! ...as well, I once tried deseeding about 10 reapers, and 10 nagas without gloves. All went fine, but my hands burned...
