2011 Grow log

Starting out w/ a seed that just popped after being underground for > a month. I put both serrano seeds and jalapeno seeds in this pot. They didn't seem to sprout so I forgot about them. I'd be happy w/ either one because that would make the 4th different strain that I've grown. Already had some success w/ Kung Pao, phrik khi nu, & Hab's

Looks like my outside/hardened jalapenos are healthier than my indoor- jalapenos:

"inside" jalapeno [put it out on the balcony to take the pic] :

"Outside" jalapenos seem more lush:

the indoor jalapeno is taller but the outdoor jalapenos have more lateral- growth which I like.

Biggest of my super hots on the right (bhut jol indio)and choc bhut jolokia on left. First ever time growing super hots.
Am very hyped-up :woohoo:

Hardened- off jalapeno w/ what looks like some critter, eating tracks. Plant still looks okay though. Anybody have any ideas on what bug could do this?:

Bhut Jolokia Indio's looking lush w/ big leaves  :

Temporarily have 3 in this container. The center one is a runt because it can't get any sun

Tallest jalapeno plant. First time growing these. Didn't think I'd be able to get them to sprout w/o a heating pad:

Most verdant jalapeno's I have. They have the most buds forming & the stems are the broadest too :woohoo:

2nd- season, growth thai pepper. Cut this one down to a 6" nub and looks like I'm going to get more peppers off of it than the 1st season:

Last pic of a Dorset that I'm nursing along. Didn't think it was going to make it until it put out this true leaf:

Anybody have any ideas on what bug could do this?:

yes dot dude, them are "leaf miners"

i think the best way to get rid of them is to trim off the inflected leafs
and then burn them with fire(there are at least two types of them)
they are not that big of a threat but KILL them anyway
it may be you can 'squish' them right in/on the plant

nice looking flora on the pubes
(i am harvesting some more this week from those ones mama)
may post pics later on after uploading to the photobucket thing
so will try to inform or notify you after some are there

Looking forward to your update. I was thinking that not many people comment on my grow-log, as I'm new to growing peppers, but decided to do an update yesterday anyway.
