see, this is where you always lose me. i seriously don't think that's why psychedelic drugs are illegal (you've said this a couple times...).
i'm not saying the real reasons are much better, i'm fairly certain it's cuz of drug related deaths (and i'm not trying to get into a debate on whether you can OD on psychedelics, lets be honest here people on drugs get into accidents...), and again not really from an altruistic point of view...if you die young they lose out on your lifetimes contribution to GDP - that's how government assigns a value to human life (currently estimated at between four and seven million bucks. i am not making this up, this is how they do feasibility studies...) so they just look at the numbers and see which is more costly, the extra deaths if it were legal or the forgone excise taxes they could be collecting (cuz if it were legal you can be sure they will tax it).
alcohol and tobacco are ok in these regards (or irregardless of this ;) )cuz they ussually kill you slow and generally when you're close to retirement anyways so then they don't have to pay your cpp (what is that in the states, social security?).
actually, i think they can control you more if they did make these drugs legal, they'd regulate it just like they do booze and smokes. they'd probably require licensing to go collect anything from nature, and/or they'd have production permits which would go to large corporations, and if you got into an accident you'd still need their doctors and the big business insurance you folks have, and fox news would still exist even tho your mind would be free.
honestly, you're better off with them being illegal. unless you get caught that is...
 
Actually, it more because of the "religious" (hardcore Christian) sect that panders to the conservative (right wing) politicians. I won't go into detail for it might offend a lot of people...


That being said... It's still all about controlling the masses.
 
Agreed. And at some point, (like with pot) they are just still going because they would look pretty stupid if they suddenly admitted that it was harmless after they had messed up so many people's lives.. Some people probably do still beliave the message of the old "scare tactic" films about pot heads ripping people to pieces and raping women.
 
i just think if they thought they could make money off it all the propaganda would swing the other way. i totally agree it's all about control, i just don't think they're worried about losing control because these drugs open your mind up. there's all sorts of other ways to free your mind and they don't go after a lot of those cuz they make them money.

some of what you've mentioned I have not heard of, I'll look into those things when I have more time. I just dont know, I guess ya could say I'm lost in limbo when it comes to do aliens exsist or not.

but with NASA (gov't controled) searching for some types of life elsewhere (& the general public interested in "whats out there", I just dont understand why such a coverup for so long if aliens did exsist, & if they were in contact with them so often (could be called diplomatic relations) why not just say "yes, theres another lifeform that exsists! here they are"

& why is it most of the so called alien sightings are in the USA ? or I may be wrong ? but if the SW USA is seeing sightins almost 1 a week or ? thats ALOT.

where are all these UFO's crash sites, its still a machine & machines breakdown! where are they repairing their UFO's ? where they refueling ?
if aliens were giving humans technology, where are our hyperspeed aircrafts ? remember its been well over 50 years.& this type of technology would be worth its weight in gold, if any technology given/taken from aliens this would be the 1st on the list (hyperspeed travel or whatever)

the moon landing I know thats questionable, well hearsay, but again why havent any recent photos of the landing crafts left on the moon been shown recently, or could you even see them through a telescope ?

again whats with the 8 species of aliens ? I've only heard of 1 type. some of these are not klingon,rommuale,wookie,etc... are they ? :lol::P
 
another thing is the size of the UFO used to travel 100's of light years, it seems pretty small for those distances, dont ya think ? how they cram all their needs into a little spaceship & then head back home.
I'd think it'd need to be some monster sized ship to do these types of travel.

To be honest, I haven't given too much thought to the whole alien thing, other than it is highly probable (in the same way that it is highly probable that i will drink an alcoholic beverage in the next month) that there are other life forms in the universe.

I just watched a doco called Zeitgeist, available on google video. In relation to this thread, it is quite interesting. It does not overtly mention aliens, but it does discuss world domination, and the "inevitable" world government that big big big business would like to see in place.

It also discussed the origins of several modern religions and the common themes behind them, and how they have been used as a tool for mass hypnosis.

It is my belief that secrecy behind many things is to maintain the status quo, and an educated, open-minded public does nothing to maintain the class order (for lack of a better term) that currently exists. This explains the deterioration of educational standards in many western countries -- subjugation of the masses through ignorance.

Returning to the privatisation of and the changing of the nature of the interweb, this may be the reasoning behind it: keep 'em dumb.:shocked::confused:

The other thing that has me a little puzzled...going back to the first post... Did anyone look at the other videos posted by that crew? I'm not certain that the post about the end of the internet was 100% serious.

Because once you lie, you must maintain that lie. Plus, depending on the circumstances of the ET (ie: what it’s made up of, where it comes from, how it functions, and it’s tech) it has a very big chance of contradicting what scientists and some religions say.

These are big business that make a lot of money. They would loose a lot if they were proved wrong….they don’t like to loose…

There’s a lot everywhere else. Keep in mind, many places do not have the means to communicate or document close encounters (ie: internet, cell phones, cameras). There’s a lot of encounters that do not happen in the US…A LOT. Also the ones in the SW USA are much more than 1 a week.

The crash sites are at various places, most are covered up by the government almost immediately (having everything under surveillance has it’s benefits ya know ;) ). Who says their ships need fuel to operate? Where are our hyperspace aircrafts? See my previous link on page two about John Walson.

There’s the Reptilians and the lemurians for example…and the rest I’d have to do a ton of searching to find the link that presented the info.

Some of them are the size of three football fields. Take for example the triangle that people say just a few hours before the Phoenix Lights (first one) appeared. When it comes to interdimensional travel, length and “time” are not of concern.
