2016 Grow Start

Been starting some seeds, the first is the Jalapeno, used fresh from the Red ones and only 50% came up, glad I soaked them first to see who would sprout. Planted them in soil and they have come up so , so far so good
My Aji Lemon after a long struggle with Aphids  is finally looking good, so Im breathing easier now with him

I started some seeds as posted earlier inside, three ghost from what I got from the store, peach variety, and the last of my Aje Lemon seeds according to the pack, three plants and a Trinidad Perfume, so should be good for next year.

Brought in my Ghost pepper to ripen, too cold out their.

Brought my peppers in due to low temps, their ripening now well since their warmer.

Had a pic of 500gr today and dehydrating them. The Red Hab had the most fruitiness smell as I cut into it.

That JA yellow sure looks like a Scotch bonnet!  Interesting.

Yup keeping them indorse, have to get more lights now, the 250wats wont do.
I like my Scotch Bonnet That and the Ghost, Thia  are from last year, The Thai are just now starting to ripe and we are having our first snow today.
The only drat problem now is one of my plants have Aphids

Chocolate Habs, nice taste/heat, not as fruity as others, nice for its color lots of flesh.
 

 
My Cheiro Roxa did not fair well from the Aphids, washed and soaped, new leaves starting to grow, decent first time havest I guess, since growing season was cut short a month.
Havent had a chance to dry them yet to get seeds.

 
Nasty aphids, gave plants a good wash and soaping, have to keep on guard now, hope the Aphid Wasps come around soon, the Ladybirds not biting

 
Some nice Ghost peppers ripening and more Pumpkin Habs The Pumpkin and Red habs are the fruitiest I have and at the top of my Fav's.

Starting to trimm my plants as the Peppers have ripened, only way I can keep them inside over winter.

Looks like I did have a Aje Lemon, it was with the De Arbol in the same pot, their are two plants in their and I thought they were the same but in the past week the pods been ripening into yellow.
They have a strong perfume flavor, hard to pin down, maybe a bit soapy. Happy to have them, gonna separate them soon as more ripen.

I bagged a few of the plants in the hope to make it easier to keep them clean from Aphids. By bagging them I can wash the plants without loosing the soil.
The soap spray has been hard on the plants.
