2018 Southern Hemisphere Grow Down-Under

Hi All
 
It's getting to that stage where we need to plan the next growdown.
 
I can supply the Aji Cito seeds, but will need to get them posted pretty quick so get voting
 
I also have no issue if we go with something else, but will need to order in good time as it takes ages to get to NZ
 
If you vote 'Something Else' post a suggested variety

General Rules
  • GROWDOWN BEGINS 21st JUNE
  • Seeds to be started on or after start date
  • Germinate and grow as many as you want
  • All grow styles and techniques welcome
  • Only one plant can count towards your entry
  • Nominate your growdown plant at first weigh in
  • Weigh each harvest, and post picture of pods on scales here
  • Heaviest total weight of pods in one year from start will be the winner

OK. Grow tent is 1200 x 600 x 1200 high.
 
Lights are 1 x 450w viparspectra, 2 x 150w ufos (ebay cheapies). I also added 2 x 4500k 10w led bulbs.
 
There is a duct fan at the top sucking the air out, with an inlet diagonally opposite but at the bottom, to get fresh air in there.
 
There are 2 5w fans (run off usb power) blowing on the plants. One of these seems to have dropped off in the amount that it is blowing, so I have bought a 240v fan (a bit larger than the usb ones) to replace them once they pack it in.
 
I also keep the propagation domes in the tent, I seem to have a better strike rate in there than outside sitting on a heat mat.

Mine are just not growing as fast this year. Must be the soil I'm using. Either that or I need to go buy some more earthworm castings.

We only started a month ago so you are not that far behind.
 
I got plenty seeds left, but postage is going to add 2-4 weeks to that start.
 
Can I shout out to AUS contestants who have spare seeds to send to Aussimax ?
