We've used everclear at times also....it depended largely on the grog bowl budget
 
Trashcan punch = alcohol remnants and "juice"(usually something cheap as shit like hawaiian punch). Whatever bottles are opened but not empty get tossed in, then juice is added til it is borderline drinkable.

We used to call it the 'grog bowl' even though it was a 30 gallon rubbermaid trashcan.....and we used booze remnants and also bought some more cheap booze and cheap soda and/or punch and some fresh fruit for it. It was a bi-weekly ritual at Pinewood Hall at Monmouth University.

Oh, yeah. Born in Long Branch and raised in West Long Branch. Hell i grew up a half mile down Cedar avenue from the university. Made for some very interesting weekends while i was still in high school...
