Pepper Ridge Farm said:Just starting to show some color today on a 7 Pod! Great pod shape on a few of them as well. So ready to try one of these...

Only because I'm so stoked to be growing this thing, and I think any newb here who hasn't stumbled upon this thread should witness its majesty. This is the scariest pepper I think I've ever seen, and cannot wait to see if I can get some pods!
FiveStar said:SOMB, I think there are quite a few around growing babies of this monster, so there should be some seeds come this fall. I have 4 plants going, some of which I'm sharing with chilehead friends, but I'm keeping two for myself. I'm going to isolate lots of flowers from those that were true to the parent seed, and harvest plenty of seeds to go around hopefully. Can't wait to have my face burnt off by one of these!

Please place me on your seed list; gotta try this one nex year.
FiveStar said:AJ, those are some very nice looking pods! Can't wait to see them put on their new coat of red and yellow. That pod at the bottom right almost doesn't fit. Think it may have gotten some other genes in the mix perhaps?
AlabamaJack said:Thanks 5* ...maybe a mix but I have already eaten a green one and they are right there with the 7 heat and taste...will have to ask Cappy...
FiveStar said:Excellent! They certainly still look wrinkly, just not that squat rounded shape of the others. Were the seeds from the same plant, or were they 2 different cultivars?
AlabamaJack said:Hey Cappy...you reading this????
I don't know 5...
FiveStar said:oh! right! sorry...
