Yup AJ that's it! Yes sir that makes my day that you have ripe 7's. Really nice pics to boot. Be very careful, make sure you make 7 pots of stew. I hope more share pics on this thread of their brain strain pods. Awesome!:onfire:

Dangit!

I'd started a couple of cappy's demon seeds, but they had an unfortunate accident...still gonna try tho as those are just malevolent looking.

I think that word fits perefctly:

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/malevolent?jss=0

maâ‹…levâ‹…oâ‹…lent [muh-lev-uh-luhnt]

–adjective

1. wishing evil or harm to another or others; showing ill will; ill-disposed; malicious: His failures made him malevolent toward those who were successful.
2. evil; harmful; injurious: a malevolent inclination to destroy the happiness of others.
3. Astrology. evil or malign in influence.

Origin:
1500–10; < L malevolent- (s. of malevolēns) ill-disposed, spiteful, equiv. to male- male- + volent- (s. of volēns), prp. of velle to want, wish for, desire (see will 1 , -ent )

Cappy 7 Pot "brain strain" hits Virginia! My 1st pod starting to show the classic characteristics.

This plant is so healthy, it's scary. I don't know how big they get, but that stake is 3 feet and it's only June. Thanks Cappy!!!

great BigT...glad you got some Brain Strain 7s too...

If they grow anything like the regular 7s I planted last year, they got close to 6' tall...

Way to go Tony! Just you wait till you get to sample the extreme heat and flavor. I've got some 7's from seed this year that are starting to pod up. I know that several people I traded seed with last fall are no longer around, but if you got brain strain please show your pods pics. AJ I am dying to know what you think?:hot: Tony you are welcome.

Wow bigT, that's a seriously scary lookin pod man! It's even got a bit of a tail to it. Can't wait for mine to pod up! They're still only at their second fork, but I've got 3 of them, and I'm pinching buds on some and leaving them on one just to see how it goes. As soon as they're worth showing off, you can bet they'll be here.

Very strong growing plants these "brainey 7's" are. Big leaves, thick stems, and mine are really growing taller than my other chinenses.

No pods or even flowers yet, but I do see some growth starting and buds forming after I put one of the plants from your seeds in a little greenhouse. It's a plaything for kids, but it works now that I've finally got summer temperatures (+25 deg C ~ +75F)

Sunlight 24/7 don't seem to hurt them either now that they are used to it...

I have to admit that I'm starting to get nervous. I probably (means: no way in h***) won't put a whole one in my mouth, but a piece at least the size of a fingernail is a must!

7 Pod Brain Strain - first pod slowly ripening...

With some imagination you can see an evil person trying to escape the pod (look in the lower left side of the pod)

Hi guys,

First time poster/long time lurker here. I'm from Hungary and I'd like to "conserve" this strain of 7P. I PM'd PRF eariler, but I haven't received a reply yet.

Although I started this season far too late (mid April), my tepíns are throwing buds & pods like crazy and they are just 20 cm tall. Hopefully the 7Pods can/will start through the winter on the windowsill... This 7P is FASCINATING! I'm growing various habs, Dorsets, tepíns, bishops, haitian purples, etc., but I'd like to grow these wrinkly babies too. PM me please if you have seeds available! THX

Welcome from Minnesota!

Do you remember the way your tastebuds functioned before consuming a 7-pod? ....Pepperidge Farm remembers...
Nice pics...it looks more evil turning red! muhahaha! [que evil overload laugh]

Here's my entry to this post, be it ever so humble. Mine are beginning to pod, and already they're proving to be true to the mother. PRF, I can't thank you enough for these seeds. I was a latecomer to this forum this season, and you were kind enough to share some from your stash WAY after this thread was long gone. Thanks a million my friend! I'm super excited about these pods. They're about the size of a marble at the moment, but they're already SCARY!

Please don't say I did not reply to you on these boards if I never received a pm or e-mail from you ever. I have a new policy for seeds this year. To many people getting these seeds from me for free last year and then I never see them again. New policy is that you must have 500 posts to even ask me for these seeds and then it is a SASE. No exceptions. You are welcome Landis and nice pods.
