A Forum Dedicated to My Addiction...

Hello, all...I'm from the Fort Worth area in Texas. My favorite chile is the serrano, but I always have a stash of the good 'ol standby; jalapenos. I also get down on chilaca, cayenne, habanero, chile verde (New Mexico), anaheim (occasionally), Thai chile (my personal favorite, but impossible to find), and just about willing to try anything under half a million scovilles. My weekly trip to the store for peppers consists of 100 or so serranos, and 30 or so jalapenos.

I'm not much of a home-grower, but I have recently started deseeding a few of the peppers when I make salsa, and planting them. I'm getting so sprouts, so we shall see what happens with that.

I love chile...and can't wait to share recipes, and learn from other addicts. I'll be posting my personal favotire chile salsa recipe shortly..."The Green Mile"...not overly original or complicated, but it has been six months in refining to get the perfect, richest, most adictive salsa I've ever consumed...or more correctly, has consumed me.

Thanks!
