AJDrew and positive thoughts needed

Thoughts and prayers for AJ and his family... hope he makes a full and speedy recovery. May the doctors/specialists treating him have much wisdom and serve him to the best of their ability!

Pneumonia is bad, but not that bad. When I read sepsis though, then I got a bit worried. I'm sure he'll be fine though.

"A.J. looked and sounded so good tonight! Apparently they opted to drain fluid with a tube inserted down his nose to avoid any more surgery. It's amazing how much better he seems. Just waiting to see if it stays clear and still treating with antibiotics, breathing treatments and pain meds. Still not close to being released, but getting closer."
 
Current update from Aimee

"Just talked to A.J. they went ahead and did a needle aspiration on his lungs today and drained quite a bit of fluid. They couldn't get enough out doing the tube down his nose. He said he could take a really deep breath for the first time in a couple of weeks. They're sending the fluid for a dna test on the bacteria as every antibiotic they've used so far has been ineffective. They know it's strep but need to know exactly what strain it is. The doctor told him he'll be in for at least another week possibly longer. Please keep the prayers coming."
