I may even have a decent crop of tomatoes this year...

I agree with both of you...I think the DN is the prettiest pepper I have growing this year and the Purple Tigers aren't so shabby either. As far as the heat goes for the DN, I haven't got a clue...I bought the seeds off Ebay kinda as a joke because it was advertised as the "hottest pepper in the world"....not real good germination percent on the seeds I got, but I am surely gonna save some from this plant...I think I have one more that I can plant out in my "backups"....

AJ your just making me so jealous, thx for the porn ideal bank holiday fun..that garden of yours lucks great..pots everywhere:)

Have you got lots of tomato recipes? Looks like a good crop mate. I suggest some celery in the garden, and a bit of that chilli vodka for Caesars!

I wonder if the home owner's association is going to ask you to "cut back them dang weeds" ;)

Also, I was wondering how your watering station is working out?

And, I am jealous too. Fanf ntastic!

It is 5 am here now and I am getting a good rain that is needed...maybe it will cool things off a bit...more likely it will make it very sticky today...heat index suppose to be over 100F today...

I am planning on making a lot of bloody mary mix with some of the tomatos...I will have plenty of fresh pico di gallo and am going to try and make some salsa to freeze and have whenever I want it..don't know how freezing salsa will do, never done it before...the owner of the place I go to eat crawfish has told me he will buy as many as I will sell him...tomatos are going for about $3 a pound and I am considering selling him some for $1 a pound...

the home owners association can ask/tell me to cut them back all they want and I will tell them to GTH...I am not a member, nor will I ever be...the city has enough laws for me...I had the choice to join or not when I built this house and I chose NOT....

The watering system is working well although I use it only when I feed the plants (about every 10 days)...I use about 140 gallons per feeding....the one thing I have not completed yet is the plumbing from the rain barrels to the nutrient station...that is either this weekend or next...the rain barrels are full again now...
