Wow.  Great plants, pods and what looks to be a bumper season ahead for you.  Nice work.
Thanks. I would hazard a guess of several thousand pods from the 43 'hots' plants. At least a couple hundred more from the Jalapenos and Cayennes.

I cannot take all the credit, though. I believe the extraordinary amount of rain we had in June and July really helped.

I have to ask, what do you do with that many?
Dehydrate most, and grind into flakes/power and give to friends.

I also usually make several batches of sauce, mostly with fresh peppers, but I have been experimenting with dried pods.

A few I picked after work, red Bhut Jolokia, Yellow 7-Pot cross:

Picked a few:

Yellow Sun Habanero, 7-Pot Wes, CrazyHotSeeds Chocolate Bhutlah

King Naga (long type), Trinidad Hot Cherry.

Also, some tomatoes:

Roma VF and San Marzano. From four plants in Homer buckets, about a weeks worth. I did not bother to separate. Giving to neighbors and friends.

Three-year old Butch T is really doing well this year:

Is this a perfect Butch T pod, or what?

Thanks for looking, hope everyone's season is going well.

7-Pot Madballz, seed from a caramel pod from last year.

Both caramel (inner circle) and red (outer circle) pods on this plant. Hard to see, I know, but the difference is more obvious in person. Also, this plant is producing pods that are a bit smaller than the parent plant:

Wow, just wow.
While this is the single largest one-day harvest so far this year, I have already picked at least that many, a dozen or two at a time, over the last month.

And there are probably at least twice that many unripe pods yet to go.

Also, I did not pick any from my Jalapenos, nor my three-year old Butch T. I could have easily added another hundred or two.

Dehydrator is full (12 trays) and the #2 Yellow 7-Pot cross is loaded:

#1 Yellow 7-Pot cross also loaded, making large elongated pods:

Have to tie up the branches to prevent breakage from the pod weight:

Volunteer peppers:

I believe these are VV7 Scorpion (EDIT) Large Scorpion.

These, the small green pods in the foreground, may be Madballz.

Beautiful plants. Just beautiful. And so full of pods!
Respect!

Many thanks.

I have been fortunate this year.

Good weather and a consistent fertilization regimen appears to have paid off.

Hope everyone else is having a successful year as well.
