I need to add some Jalapeno, Cayenne, and Bells to round out the list.

EDIT 2:

I purchased the following live plants:

Ecuadoran Hot Lemon and Jamaican Hot Chocolate Habanero (because I never have had success germinating these), Cayenne Golden, and Ristra Cayenne Hybrid (which failed to germinate; 0 for 14).

I also bought two live plant varieties of sauce tomatoes from Burpee (three each of Roma and SuperSauce Hybrid).

A group of Chocolate Jay's Ghost Scorpion:

Yellow 7-Pot crosses. Two months ago, at plant out, were about 8 inches:

IMG_20160730_081154721.jpg

From third week of July until last Saturday, I only saw a little more than one-quarter inch in my backyard rainguage.

Since it began raining just before noon Saturday until I checked around 4:00 P.M. after work today, I had 3.1 inches in my rainguage.

Pods have been so-so both size and quantity wise, hopefully this good soaking will set them off.

Tomorrow (Saturday) going to pick a lot.

Pics to follow.

EDIT:

First round:

Wow, those Red Bhuts look great!
Thanks.

There is a Chocolate Bhut plant behind that one, and a Peach Bhut next to the Chocolate, but it is difficult to get pics.

I will post pics of ripe pods when I pick them..

wow , great plants.
It will be my first time growing red bhuts this year.
inspirational. :onfire:

Thanks.

Bhut Jolokia are really easy, in my opinion, to grow sucessfully. Plant them, give them water when they need it, maybe a little fertilizer on occasion, but otherwise, just let them do their thing.

Good luck with your grow.

I posted this pic:

about different shape/color pods on one of my Brown Large Scorpion cross plants.

One of the pods has turned color, and it is yellow and looks exactly like the original 'King Naga' (which it was not, obviously) from three years ago:

IMG_20160827_082055063.jpg

Two generations of crossing, and the original re-appears.

The brown pods in the background are the Brown Large Scorpion and, yes, they are on the same plant as the yellow pod.

Took most of the pods I harvested the last two weekends to work today to give to my co-workers.

Not sure how many pods, a couple hundred maybe, a couple of pounds anyway.

Most of the guys were curious, but only had three or four takers.

So...Many...Pods...

Trying to motivate myself to pick probably more than 500 pods, not having much success convincing myself to do so.

Anyway, a few pics.

Bhut Orange Copenhagen is going berserk:

Jigsaw is not far behind:

Red Bhut Jolokia also exploding with pods:

Some Chocolate Jay's Ghost Scorpions are seriously gnarly:

The 'twins', my Brown Large Scorpion cross plants in the clay pot:

IMG_20160903_083631956.jpg

Lastly, this is two Apocalypse Kraken Scorpion plants. When I transplanted, I am sure there was only one plant, but as I always start two seeds in my coir plugs, the second, smaller plant must have germinated way late. It is hard to see the difference, but the smaller plant (on the left) is making chocolate colored pods, while the larger is making normal red pods:

EDIT:
OK, so I mistakenly listed this as an Apocolypse.

After going back and reviewing the Kraken, it is supposed to be chocolate, so the larger plant with the red pods is the anomaly.
