LOOKING FOR RARE AND SUPERHOTS !
AS WELL AS ANY SEEDS NATIVE TO ITALY, SWEET OR HOT...
THANKS.
Hey, Emidio
I ran across these seeds from a UK supplier -
http://www.chileseeds.co.uk/hot_chili_pepper_seed.htm
They all were labeled: "Variety bred by Mario Dadomo (Azienda Agraria Sperimentale Stuard, Parma, Italy)"
There were about 8 or so varieties bred by Mario, here were 4 I found together that looked good - If you go to that page they are grouped together about 2/3 of the way down the page. They sound interesting. Might have to try a few in 2010 - I'm already over seeded for this year. But here's the 4 they had listed together and all had pictures:
Esplendor, Small bushy plant with large pods grows from bright purple, to orange to red; for pots, borders. Pods grow in bunches.
Fantasia, A mound of flowers and fruit from purplish spotted yellow, to orange to red; for pots, borders and greenhouse.
Funky, One of the nicest plants we have seen. A fantastic talking point and great for anywhere you need heat and colour. Fruit turns from purplish to yellow to orange to red.
Jamy Chilli, Bred from a variety originally from Jamaica, very tasty fruit go from greenish-yellow to orange.
Check them out.
Cheers, Tony
