And so my season Begins!!!!!!

It is sure a great time of year... lots happening on the growing front. I feel bad about calling it overwintering, but every plant I left in the ground over the winter has survived, and I have a heap of flowers and a great crop of little pods coming on my naga morich plants, the 4 inch tall 7-pod I left in the ground is happier now the weather is warming up, and the Aji Lemons produced pretty much right through winter.

Nice plants Moyboy, does it get hot in there with that light?

That area doesn't get hot at all. Probably floats around 24 degrees C. As the room isn't lined it fluctuates with the outside temps.....

Lookin good Moy, line that grow closet with some mylar and it will boost what you get from those lights.

Yeah....the room was a quick thinking sort of thing cause I was running out of space to put plants. I only really want to keep the plants alive untill the night temps warm up outside and I can start to harden them off......It doesn't worry me how big they are cause I am now 2 months ahead of where I was last year anyway...:woohoo:

Once I have the tomatoes in 3 inch pots (which is going to happen in the next few days) I will put them outside as they can handle to lower night temps. This will give me room to put the chillis back in my 30 degree C lined grow box for another week of 2.

Then I'll have room to start getting all my herbs ready....:)

Those plants are looking great. Your getting better at this grasshopper :)

God i cant wait to get back to Australia to get mine going. Will have to get some of those peat balls for sure.

And a Dougelah :) woo hoo!!!!!!!!!

Cheers

That's my goal for next year get a 2 month head start on the season. This year I didn't even start my seeds until April.
