Another Big Ass Snake From Oz

The biggest reptiles here are the lizards, the blindworms and the ring snake or grass snake. No danger at all. So to find such a python would be some nice change.

if you cooked that snake up would it taste like chicken?

I don't know but i have always thought of "self marinating" a sheep. Feed it lots of garlic, rosemary, you get the picture. It would be awesome if it worked!!

some flavours would come thru. If you rub a clove of garlic on the sole of your foot, the garlic is detectable on your breath within a few minutes I believe.

Noice:lol: I have heard that myself but i just put it in my mouth the old fashion way;)
I wonder how much a lamb would cost, kinda like a self marinating automated lawn mowing fertilising food source with great flavour:P Can one even keep a sheep in a surburban area?
Sounds like a great idea to me.

P.S. I like beer :)

According to the US military survival guide all snakes are edible. I hear Rattlesnake taste like chicken as well so it's very possible. I've always wanted to try it, but just didn't have the opportunity yet. I've had gator though. Really good stuff.

I've eaten crocodile - didn't taste like chicken to me, I've also eaten emu, definitely didn't taste like chicken, neither does kangaroo. another great line by the 'experts' is when they something has a 'gamey' taste...

To me it was chicken-esque....but really greasy.

I have ate rattlesnake and it sorta taste like chicken but lil diff. Thats a huge snake. I usually kill three to four corn snake(chicken snake) a year that bout 6 footers eating my babies or eggs but i catch them with fishing line and a stuffed egg with a treble hook on the inside of the egg with masking tape over the hole. They are usually pretty ticked off when they cant get loose So I help them out with a sharp spade. I hate snakes lol no offense but we also have copperheads, pygme rattlesnakes, and few cotton mouths which these are poisonous

Say Hello to my little friend!!!
