I'm pretty sure it was an under-pitch from being a liquid yeast that I received in May, is all, in a fairly big beer ...

Smells too nice to be way off or anything, so I'm not worried ...

I just want to brew, is all ... it's blockin' me ...

Oh FFS ...

I just found out where *I've* been going wrong for the past few months =(

Herp Derp's on GM ...

I've not been diluting my Fast Pitch ... and so I've effectively been dumping yeasties into a 1.100 gravity wort as the starter ...

Fast Pitch® is an instant yeast starter. Go straight from can to flask and eliminate waiting, extra equipment, clean-up and risk of contamination. No boiling, no DME. From start to finish in under 5 minutes, Fast Pitch® is as easy as pour, pitch, propagate!

Yeast starters are the #1 way to radically improve every aspect of your homebrew. So we’re taking the next step in simplifying the process, and practically making them for you. How to use Fast Pitch® Canned Wort
Size of Starter Add Fast Pitch™ Add Water 1L 1 can 16 oz. 2L 2 cans 32 oz

Use one can of Fast Pitch® for each liter of starter wort. Sanitize everything—flask, stopper, top of each can of Fast Pitch™, and yeast packet. Pour Fast Pitch® directly into your flask. Add 16 oz. water to the flask for each can of Fast Pitch®. Swirl to mix. Add yeast and cover with sanitized stopper. Damn that was fast!

Guaranteed that *I've* been stunting the hell out of my yeast starters by putting them into what amounts to high-gravity wort for not diluting them.

Well, I guess that's a major discovery ... and I'm an idiot, sometimes ...

Wow - lots of fav's here ...

For one, I chuckled since I've never had a Kolsch, and it looks like my local brewery won teh Gold in that category for their Poolside kolsch - too funny ...

Zhukov took the Bronze for the English Stout, and Hunahpu won Experimental Stout ...

The beer I'm planning to send to Ozzy won, the Hazelnut Spread beer won Chocolate Stout ...

Good shit.
Also, beers still fermenting!
