The head on my Mild is different from the rest ...

It turns out to float like Pangaea ...

No idea why ...

It's like 85% Crisp British Pale, 2% Carafa Special III, and the difference made up of equal parts CaraAroma & CaraRed ...

I thnk, though, it's the Wy1968 ...

I have to gush over that yeast, which is one of the commonly used CCB yeasts, Wy1968 ...

Definitely my fav of the British yeasts, so far, and the most flocc-friendly of all yeasts I've used. That beer ferm'd clean and dropped clear in the fermenter.

Nice.

I didn't have all that much beer left in my kegs, so it went quickly.

And the real fun ...

Considering I got shit-faced to *start* the task, having 24 oz of 5.5, 8.5, and 10.5 to quickly consume to end it was ... fun!

There was only one move ...

Munchies420 ...

#truth

we've had it three times since i've been with Danielle ... a rate of once every two years ...

and i have to lol re: the slack delivery, because the fuckers showed up while i was in the shower, which blew my mind, because they usually take an hour and a half like you said ... and arrived in 50 mins.

it literally just woke me up to shit =( ...

I just reviewed some Youtube videos to verify my procedure and I was more careful than most of those folks (I capped each one after filling it, one by one), and my beers were under 10-12 psi in their kegs (and in the case of the older beers, for many months) ...

The two issues worth looking at are:

1) That capper I was gifted.
2) The liquid line sent with my (disassembled BeerGun) was half the length (5') described in the directions (10').

So, hmmm ... I ordered a bench capper, some more bottles, and some caps spec'd at 26mm that are a sure fit with the new capper ...

For next time I'll change the liquid line for the BeerGun to ensure it's fully 10ft ...

It seems unlikely that I would have swapped tubing, not having any reason to, but my BeerGun also came disassembled - so maybe an idiot packed my box ... and honestly, I've had trouble with Northern Brewer orders in other ways, so that wouldn't really surprise me all that much truth be told ...

No leaks ...

I think that points to the half-length hose, in all likelihood.

I put a few bottles in my kitchen fridge to warm up a bit, just to rule out that it's from being 35-36F ...

I just shortened my liquid hose after bottling last time. I only bottled what I sent Wheebz and he didn't complain, so I assume it was carb'd ok. Hopefully that will not screw up my later bottling attempts. I have a different beer gun than you guys.

Are they all flat? All of your different varieties.

My beer gun specifically said to not shorten the length of the liquid line.
I've poured the beer I bottled out of my beer gun and it held the carbonation fine. The imp stout I sent Wheebz was it.

Just checked that out, actually ...

I might not have much of a problem ...

I prefer the beers off tap all the time, so maybe it's just *that* ...

I didn't shorten mine, but it sat for a year and I might have swapped it inadvertently ...

Honestly, though ...

I'm the only person who got one unassembled on the net, so I really think they (NB) fucked up putting together my box ...

It's not bad, just okay for me ...

Probably has Simcoe or one of those pine-like hops in there ...

I can drink it okay, but can't be too passionate about it ... it's a little drier than I prefer, also ...

Might even be Chinook ...
