Another shooting at Ft. Hood

Well, it was technically workplace violence. That and so far no conclusive evidence has been put forth to suggest the previous shooter was anything other than a nutcase.

Except for the "Allahu akbar" before he opened fire.

Yeah, this guy was PTSD all the way.... I just never understood why someone who might want to end their own life feels like they should take a bunch of other people down with them. Do all of those other people a favor and start with yourself. I don't mean to sound cold, but really.... no need for senseless death. I wonder what kind of psychotropic meds he was on....

Ya gotta wonder... :(
$^&#$ psychiatrists!

yeah, those drugs are bad news. They were involved in the last few mass shootings. How could a side effect of an anti-depressant possibly be thoughts of suicide??? WTH??

Every time I turn on the tv I see ads pushing drugs, and the side effects are almost always worse than the symptoms they supposedly treat. Wanna quit smoking? We have a pill for that. Are your legs "restless"? We got ya covered! Oh, by the way, there is a chance you might have suicidal and/or homicidal thoughts or actions while taking these drugs...

WHAT??!?!! Homicidal actions?

Yeah but... yeah but... yeah but...  the chances of having homicidal actions is pretty slim, so it's fine. Go ahead and give it a try!

Slightly off topic, but... Trampling on the constitution and taking away rights from law-abiding citizens is worth it, even if it only saves one life. Right? It's common sense! Right? But somehow pushing drugs PROVEN TO CAUSE HOMICIDAL THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS to treat some bullshit made-up ailment (or anything for that matter) is perfectly fine? People that think big government or big pharma are looking out for yours and my best interests need to wake up. It's all about more money and more power. Period. Big government and big pharma don't give a shit about the collateral damage they cause.

Disregarding the 'to each his own' rule about religion and killing people over it says quite bad things about one's sanity, just saying.

edit: and as to how/why antidepressant medicine cause suicide(sometimes), either way, you're not depressed anymore.
