Wanted to get manson/ slipknot tickets for my birthday but the prices where rediculous for the show's near by ($300+) . We are half tempted to make the 14 hour drive to CO to see them at Redrock amphitheater.

Wanted to make the trip 2 Austin last year. Concert was on a Wednesday night WTF! Next time.

Megadeth, Metallica, pantera, led Zeppelin, iron maiden

Some other bands:

Pink floyd, guns n roses, slash, David Bowie, Rolling Stoners etc.

10 main bands that I can think of off the top of my head, I've only just really gotten into metal now. I listened to led Zeppelin and Metallica before but I'm listening to a lot more.
 
I still cannot get enough of the new Slayer album.  So damn good.  Henry Rollins said it best.  Its like the cryofreeze slayer and every 8 years thaw them out, tell them its 1980 and let them make a record.
 
But on top of that still listening to a lot of as I lay dying, the latest Killswitch, some oldschool Sepultura.  Anything that makes me drive fast.
