I took this shot with a macro adapter. Landlord pulled him out of an electrical socket... Mummified and all. It's a mouse skull. Definitely wouldn't argue that a dedicated macro lens would be better though: The adapters really are a little tough to get just right.

No fancy equipment here, just a smartphone.  I was fascinated by this feather stuck on the hummingbird feeder cap.  I don't believe it is a hummer's feather, but it was small.  The feeder cap measures 7/8" in diameter.
