Setting up an Seed Trading Package USA

Since Seed Trading Parcel 2010 (Round 2) - Canada/USA is full/Currently in progress I was wondering if anyone was interested in a starting another one, In order to speed up the shipping i thought it might be best to keep it all in the country. Post on this thread and PM your address, I plan on organizing the list in order to optimize the speed of the package. Looking for at least 10 people. I will post the rules after see if their is any interest in doing this. I want to get this going in about a week, so act fast. :)

If we get enough people, we can start an east coast and west coast package, so the more the better.
 
sometimes its just as easy to ask for what you are looking for or wait for the next round. At this point its getting a bit late to start any of the seeds as well. The best times are in the fall when the pods are coming in fast and furious
 
I understand it is getting late, and this may not be the best timing but it is still possible that someone might be able to pick up something new to try. Or a couple more seeds of something they had poor germination rates on. As I said above I want to try to get the package to move as fast a posible to help with the lateness or this trade.

It's going to be hard to get people interested since the only seeds in the pack to start out with will be the ones you've offered for trade...

Common stuff everyone has or can get easily almost anywhere,most are available at any store or nursery.

orange habaneros
Naga Jolokia-Should lable as PC1 or Chinense or you might piss someone off.
Cayenne
Jalapeno
Tabasco
Black pearl
Large red cherry
Bell peppers various colors -weeds LOL
Sweet Banannas


Something to think about.

Need some different,interesting varieties to get people interested in your package.
I'm not willing to put rare varietis in such a package - it would be paying postage etc. to get nothing new or even interesting (to me), seed strain or variety wise.

I can do SASBE offers -when I feel like it-and get the same result (spread some heat) without paying postage...

People get into the seed parcel thing to get new varieties and strains of seed they don't have.

I don't think starting a new parcel thing will work very well with what you have to offer to start it out with right now except for people just starting out with growing peppers.

It looks like you are trying to get people to put seeds you can't trade for using varieties you've got now by starting a new seed package thing.
 
Well I can put in atleast 10 types with 20 seeds as of now.I`ve close to 60 types but not seeds of boat load for all.Let me know. Rich
 
Well the last thing is --who`s in? I can 20 or so types for starters and we take it from there.Lets swap. Rich
 
Well like others have said its getting late in the season to start a seed parcel (even the one currently going around started a little late). Just a suggestion is wait until round 2 is done as round 3 will be starting in last August/Early Sept which will be a nice start into the 2011 season. We alway welcome new people for the parcel.
 
i am still in. smokemaster is right that i dont have a lot to offer but i am more that willing to share what i do have. qbvbsite, I would like to participate in round 3 and the goal was not to draw away from round 2 it was just to get more movement for this growing season. hixs, i would even be willing to ship you some more seeds to start this with. If you let me know what you were planing on starting with. PM me.
 
I would be up for this or wait until round 3 in the fall.

If you don't want to participate fine don't. None of us are interested in why.
 
Halo hit me with a pm,,,,I owe out to several people here right now on the what we get this yr .I have appx 65 types but can only send maybe 5-10 of each right now.Been a lot of great people here who have traded early with me and I owe them big time.Be great to get involved if I can. Rich
 
If there is an available spot then i am in i currently grow over 150 varietys but only have about 20 of them to trade
