Are you Catholic? - Sense of humor coming back

Not funny yet, but same story will be after a bit.  Day after admitted to hospital, no clue what was going on, in bed on morphine drip.  I wake up with a Priest besides my bed.  Now if you are Catholic, tell me the truth, that there is heart attack stuff right?

I am thinking unless you are hours from death, priests should be undercover.

its simple.

I'm a Lutheran pastor and visit the sick in the hospital all the time. In 20 years of ministry I've only had one person ask, "Oh crap, am I dying?" My reply, "Of course you are, you're mortal, but probably not because of whatever you're in here for." I'm most always in uniform because the hospital staff tends to not question why I'm there and are more helpful. :)

You're actually quite lucky if an actual priest shows up. They don't usually visit people in the hospital unless someone request it.

Might have been an opportunity to confess your sins? Just kidding.Who knows five Hail Marys and ten Our Fathers could have remedied some concerns....I would have been freaked out to see a bedside priest.Good to hear youre alot better.
