ARGH I can't take it sometimes

This site is hell to view in the winter. So many pics of delicious pods, I keep getting fantasies of having a second home in Australia so I can grow and eat yummy peppers all year long.

brb, gonna go fire up my grill, start both of my cars, and my lawnmower, global warming kick start incoming.
 
My next year's crop is 2 inches tall or so. Lights are a must!

I still fantasize about being incredibly wealthy so that I could dig up my babies in September and load them on my private jet, so that I can unload them at my beachfront farm in Australia to start the season all over!
 
hey i live in Florida and i've got more tiny caribbean red pods starting to come in yet again...and i just harvested about 20 of them.

One of my few plants left is a Caribbean Red and it's really healthy but just won't produce any peppers. I named it after someone on this forum months ago but it hasn't helped.

I'm just saying that you don't have to go all the way to Australia for the nice growing weather.....but i'd really have to question your decision making abilities if you blew off Australia for Florida, though:lol:
 
Yes all my babies are doing very nicely.......hehe

I harvested my first ripe chilli on the weekend (Golden Cayenne) and have about 100 chillis close to ripe...

I harvested one solitary pod this morning but there are probly 40 or so waiting to ripen (don't know what kind of darn chilli plant though).

I also have three Nelly Kellys' with pods galore (anyone ever heard of this variety?) and my Medusa (small as it is) is starting to flower! Happy days are just around the corner!!
 
I've been getting heaps of ripe pods but alot have been gone bad due to all the rain we have had. Mind you they are full of flowers again, and the weather is hot and perfect lol.
 
not many buds on this seasons plants but I've got two overwintered 7Pots doing nicely with some small pods showing and a few overwintered cayenne varieties which are covered in pods. I'm also growing a couple of tomato plants and they have fruit all over them!
 
my chocolate hab, red savina, chintexle, and peter yellow are doing quite nice in so-cal away from the 40 degree temps and toulie fog of the central valley :) when I start my seeds in December/January, I cant wait to transplant them to so-cal to have them thrive for years...I am truly excited!
 
I still have a jungle going on under my lights, btu nary a pod yet. :(
ALthough, the greenery does looks nice against the backdrop of snow and grey outside... :D
 
I`m with you quads.i`ve still got 12 plants going under lights in my basement along with the wood stove.My 2 scorpions are loving it and the J S bonnett is too.The scorps are stll loaded.

Mate I have been looking for info on this chilli since I saw them at bunnings.....

I have looked for the name in all the usual chilli sites and have found nothing..

The only thing I can thing is it is a name they have given a basic chilli to try and help it sell....
 
Damn my scorps are damn near 4 feet,,,My naga is about 3,,,Hope I can keep them till next year.
