The driest wood is still on the trees. My glasses will create the beam to create the fire. There is always high ground. No high ground? Stack stuff to create an out of water platform for the fire. Lots of things I could eat raw if need be. The grubs are high in protien, but make awsome fishing bait. Sushi baby. Chances are that the swamp is saltwater. The big problem would be fresh water.



Not fun, but could you survive?
 
If you cant survive there you dont deserve to live anywhere... Odds are trash is everywhere worldwide... find some plastic and make an evaporation chamber with the salt water or if clear wrap it around some of the green plants to catch their water vapor... I fear city life more than survival life... Nature doesnt lie.

If you had a fourth option would you choose the woman again, or 3 work dogs of varying age?
 
Definitely hot... Cold is cold round the clock... Most hot places are hot during the day and cold at night giving mid temp windows to be active... Plus nomatter whereyou are in the heat, its always cool a few feet under ground...

Throw em all in the pot! If i had to choose, Im a crawdads turtle gator kinda guy... Not into killing things,but if we're talking survival,a big old gator will do you right...
