I don't breed the peppers, but I like the big gnarly looking ones. This year I was given some wartryx seeds. I think I'll prize those peppers.

Do you think these pepper heat wars are outta control or are you enjoying the ride?

Love em for the youtube videos the create... i will be making a series on em to... At a certain point i think hot is just hot and you cant tell anymore by human taste which is hotter... but the imaginary war makes people keep trying and making vids about em...

Are you gonna increase or decrease the amount of peppers you grow in 2017??

Increase by far... been doing it as a hobby for 10 years.. end of this season i turned it into a business.. was only doing 10 last year... this year Im at over 60 to expand my businesses variety and customer base.. seedlings already growing...

First super hot you ever had? First pepper that started your path to joining a pepper board? I mean alot of people grow peppers, but the people here have an obsession...

LMAO!!! I swear I have seen your video before... small world...

Nope havent tried the pickles yet but have tried a friends with habeneros...tasty but not too hot...

That one surprised ya for your first... How hot have you gone since?

I did two chocplate scorpions at once and filmed it. My son deleated it after a while. He claimed it was a mistake. Not really sure. Nothing more after that. I figure what am I trying to prove? I cook with them, dry them, pickle them ect. I will not, however, eat one raw and whole again.

Do you eat them whole?

Not anymore.  I used to eat whole pods a few years back, but I really wasn't a big fan of the aftermath.  I like to enjoy the burn, not feel like my insides are melting.

What's your WORST hot pepper/capsaicin experience?

It is 13 degrees in NF right now.  So yeah, I'd say it's cold.  But at least it is 7 degrees warmer than it was this time yesterday.

Are you a fan of cold weather?

Well, I'm in California and coldf or us is about 32°

But, yes I would rather bundle up. I like it crisp.

Do you like the snow?

I wouldn't say I love it, but I certainly prefer it over rainy weather.  I also enjoy shoveling the driveway in the mornings after a good snowfall.  It makes for a great winter time workout.

What pepper varieties do you plan on growing this year?

Chocolate Bhutlahs.  I just wasn't that impressed by them.  Sure, they were hot, but that was really about all they had going for them.  The most I'd ever use them for (If I ever grow them again) would be for making pepper powder.

What are your favorite low heat level pepper varieties?

I'm growing a couple of crescendo pepper plants this year along with Aji cachucha Aji Criollo Aji guaguao these are Cuban low heat peppers with the exception of the crescendo a large low heat(sweet) pepper.

Do you grow grow bells I will never grow bells as this is one I absolutely don't care for.

Yea, but not really technical about it. They just happened to survive. I have several set aside for next year. Fingers crossed.

So are you tired of this dang rain yet?

Yes, I'd prefer some snow at this point.  I kinda miss my snow shoveling workouts first thing in the morning.  They were an almost every day thing for me the last couple of winters.

Have you ever experimented with bonsai chile plants?
