ASK THE NEXT PERSON ANYTHING ! GAME !

Went into a walk-in freezer and closed the door behind me.

It was pretty cool alright! ;)

Garlic bread, cheesy garlic bread or herb and garlic bread?

I have favourites I like to cook but I probably wouldn't consider any of them a signature dish.

I think you are onto something though, Rym. I need a signature dish!

Do you have a signature dish?

Ya know I've given it a lot of thought and I really don't have one. I tend to morph recipes, but it still always stared out as someone elses dish. Nothing that I can really claim as mine. I need to work on it.

Do you have a kind of food that you like to cook more than others?

That I "LIKE" to cook?

Home: Soups, Indian and Asian dishes, countless sauces.
Da restaurant: Pizzas (because I out pizza the hut).

Have you ever made a meal so bad that neither you, nor your dog, would/could eat it?

I like to experiment, so yes.....yes I have.

What does a guy out in the middle of nowhere do when he wants seafood? Can you get decent frozen at least?

Wait until he goes to Las Vegas or Denver and then pay 3x what someone closer to the coast would pay and hope for the best. Or go out to the lake, slay some cutthroat or splakes and smoke 'em.

Do you like living where you live?

Yea I do. I'm two hours from San Francisco and two hours from Tahoe. I'm less than two hours from Napa. The weather is a bit hot in the summer, but snow is rare. I don't even need a heavy winter coat. The seafood options are mind blowing. The culinary diversity is off the hook. I'm worked hard but the job is pretty easy. Anyone can kill a bug. I have time to write, cook and try to enjoy life.

When life gives you lemons is your lemonaide any good?

Taking this metaphorically...
(tough question btw)
I suppose so. If(When) bad stuff happens, I try to let it pass with minimum disturbance/upset. I guess rather than make lemonade I throw the lemons back!

What is the best conversation you have ever had?

Now THAT is a good question. I enjoy hearing stories from people that are high on life. The best conversation I ever had was at a family reunion listening to my mother and her cousins recount stories from their youth. GOOD STUFF.

Have you lived enough to have at least a pocket full of yarns or has it all been meh?

At first I was like "a pocket full of yams" ...... what does that even mean???

I got yarns, I suppose, but I'm hopeless at telling 'em.

A yarn is only as good as the storytellers ability to tell 'em, don't you reckon?

If that's the question, then hmmm, I suppose to an extent. But bad story tellers can have good stories. But good story tellers make any story good.

What is the best way to eat potato?

Rob, you can't die like that. If you have to seek medical attention for that, you have to make it to the hospital and put the hospital gown on backwards and strut the halls. Then you can slip and hit your head and die that way.

I'll probably die of cancer or a coronary.

Do you like cooking with booze?

Does an aircraft carrior count? Other than the navy I have never overnighted on a boat.

I have a float tube. Ever fish from a float tube? Fun.

I think I would name it "Ahhhh".

Truth be known I think I would rather have a sailboat. I sailed as a teen and am damn good at it. Some of my best memories.

Would you want a decent size fishing boat or a johnboat?
