ASK THE NEXT PERSON ANYTHING ! GAME !

I'm pretty much always in the kitchen. Other than desserts, I do all the cooking in the family.

Is it ever a bad day to go fishing?

Now that we have the waterill have to do some more fishin. I have not even had a fishin license in three years due to the lack of water and my syatica.

Do you ice fish? I've never done that.

Nope, nope, nope. I don't care how thick it is. Plus, I don't want to freeze my butt off on a wind swept lake. I'll wait until spring.

What is something that you absolutely hate to have to cook?

Sweetrolls. I've made so freakin many of them that I can hardly stand to even look at one. Very time consuming as well. My wife likes deep fried potato cubes. I'm getting tired of making them too.

Do you like cookig fancy or low key the best?

Simple, artery clogging goodness. As I've said, our menu has one symbol to show how healthy it is. It's a fist punching a heart.

How do you like your steak prepared?

Fussily, salted and oiled then sealed in a hot pan and finished in the oven on 180c for about 10 mins or until medium-rare.

That, or sous vide.

Do you like coriander?

Gave that question some serious thought. I don't think I have a spice that I hate. I seem to use them all at one time or another.

I don't like the moldy taste that you get from a strong brie, but that's another topic.

Ever had Froi gras (sp) ?

Mmm, fatty goose liver... Nope, never tried it. I would love to, though.

Do you buy organic vegetables?

Hell no. It's either frozen or previously frozen and sat out too long.

What is a dish you've always wanted to make, but haven't yet?

Ive tried to make what i find i like. When i first discovered Pho I set out to make my own. I can't really think of a dish that I've always wanted to make That I have not attempted. If cost was not an issue I would make a mind blowing seafood spread:

Oysters on the halfshell
Peel and eat shrimp with spicey dipping sauce
King crablegs
Lobster
Clams in a blackbean sauce
Calamari fried with panko and served with spicey tartar sauce
Linguini with clam sauce
Cioppino
Smoked salmon, creamcheese, capers, tomato, onion on rye crackers
Caviar
Oyster shooters

What would be your ultimate meal?

All of the above. Sometimes I make whatever is on our menu, sometimes I go all out at home and other times I make beanie weenie cornbread casserole.

Do you have any phobias?

No not really. Seen or done an awful lot. If it makes me uneasy I stay away from it, but not afraid of it. I guess you could say I fear street drugs. They have the power to destroy.

What tops your bucket list?

Building my plane with my kids and flying over monument valley with them. Or two girls at the same time. I think the former is more realistic.

Same question...

No way in hell am I answering that on a public forum. But, if there is an afterlife, I have some 'splainin ado...

Do you have an addiction?

I'm addicted to my HONEY. Without her I would surely dry up and blow away.

So what do you do for fun ? Just you. A day on your own.
