Bad storm a'comin?

Can't get an accurate total, but the last time I measured was 2pm and it was 18 inches then. I would say we are somewhere around 22-23 inches, but it is blowing like crazy. The pile beside my driveway is now somewhere around 8 feet high. Ok, enough of the snow for this year already.

Oh I'm positive alright. Positive that I am sick of shoveling snow! Now they are saying we could be getting more on Monday...

looks like I might have to shovel snow down here in fort worth

they upped the amount in the forecast this morning from 1-2 to 3-5 inches...supposed to snow all day and until midnight today...started about 2 hours ago I think...

I know this is nothing like you guys up north get, but it is a 10-20 year event down here...

that's OK mel...spring is only about 3 weeks away for me....

:fingers crossed:

thank you ma'am....

no worries :) i've only seen snow twice in my whole life (and that has been on trips down south) but i hate our sydney winters - they have nothing on what you get to experience!!

you know I am way south in the US mel...I don't get near the snow/cold weather as my northern neighbors do....

maybe so.. but i'm still amazed by the pics you post!! My little brother is working in Whistler ATM and the pics he posts are amazing!! i love how the snow looks.. but cant handle the cold... go figure :P

Mel, none of us who live in "snow" areas like cold!!!!! Most of the time we don't even like snow...they say it takes 10 or 11 inches of snow to equal one inch of rain, I'm betting my yard will have about 5-6 inches of water on it when all of this starts to melt.

I guess so... its just snow is such a novelty to me, I feel like a spoilt brat whinging about my winters when we dont even get close to snow!

you watch the weather and plan ahead or deal with not planning ahead...maybe visit the neighbor that is as big a lush as yourself and bum off him....that is if you can get out the door...

not speaking from experience, just speaking from pictures.....

yup....exactly what I was talkin' about....

how much more you gonna get....they are saying we will get 3-5" by midnight...got about an inch now...

note: 5" will be a LOT of snow here in Fort Worth...maybe some kind of record or something...

It's drifted a bit, but there's still over three feet there on the deck. Here's the reverse angle.

Believe it or not there's a grill under there somewhere.

And here's a shot of my driveway.

No worries about running out of beer. This is Pennsylvania man, we don't stay home because of a little snow. I'll be dug out by noon.
