The Heavy.
(Non Tradition Bun category)
 
For my Non-Tradional Bun, I used Sourdough Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
 
Ingredients:
• 80/20 Ground Chuck
• Chorizo
• Black Forrest Ham (grilled)
• Thick Cut Bacon (grilled)
• Old Time Wieners (grilled)
• Sharp Cheddar Cheese
• Pepper Jack Cheese
• Calliente Gorgonzola Cheese
• Seattle Sourdough
• Dill Pickles
• Grilled Onions marinated in BBQ Sauce
• 2 Fresh Jalapeños (grilled)
• Tim's Cascade Potato Chips (Jalapeño)
• Thick Sliced Tomato
 
- Mixed the ground beef and chorizo and made 4 thin patties.
- Grilled the Patties (with cheese,) Wieners, Ham, Jalapeños, Bacon & Onion.
 
From Bottom to top:
- Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Pepper Jack and Gorgonzola Cheeses
- Burger Patty
- Jalapeños
- Ham
- Potato Chips
- Burger Patty
- Tomato
- Onion
- Bacon
- Burger Patty
- Dill Pickles
- Wieners
- Burger Patty
- Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Sharp Cheddar and Gorgonzola Cheeses

Whoa.
 
The chorizo in the grind, pickles, and two different grilled cheese sammies (both w/blue) all makes my mouth water well played. 

...with ham, and wieners, and hold on, be back after I read this phone book over.
 
Unless it didn't exceed 6 like a collage of 5 and 1 pic etc.

Jalapeno Popper stuffed Elk burgers on Homemade Buns

Buns:
6 cups flour
1 pint milk
1/2 cup raw honey
1/2 cup butter
1 pkg yeast
1/2 TBLS salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
mix dry ingredients in mixing bowl
Warm milk, honey, and butter in pan on low till just warm enough to melt the butter and activate the yeast
add yeast to warm mix and gently mix till blended
add to dry mix and work till smooth but not dry
let rise min 1 hr
punch down work briefly and shape into buns
set on non-stick baking pan and let rise again
bake at 350 for 15-20 min and then let cool

Prep Jalapeño poppers
 I used Chevre as my cheese this time
set aside
 
Patty Prep.
 
Mix ground elk, 1 egg and season as you wish
I used simple salt, pepper a splash of Worcestershire and hot sauce
add chopped onion
mix well
form into thin pattys
 
Place 2 poppers on one patty and cover with another patty pressing the edges together to make one patty.
broil till juice runs clear ( about 20 min)
