Charleston Chew Dog
Being from Charleston, SC...I think the hotdog I came up with totally represents Charleston...Southern Culture. Many Southerners love oysters and to put them on a hotdog..."who woulda thunk"?!! The combination of ingredients represents the Lowcountry.

I created the "Charleston Chew" Hotdog. The recipe is as follows: Boars Head franks, blue cheese, Kraft Roka Blue Cheese dressing, cabbage, jalapeno, smoked oysters, deli mustard, bacon bits, fresh sliced Scotch Bonnetts and soft bun. Grilled the franks, put in the soft bun and then topped with mustard, engaged the jalapeno blue cheese cole slaw, then crumbled the blue cheese, sprinkled with bacon bits, put on the smoked oysters, and then dabbled with the Scoth Bonnettx

The Charleston Chew is really a sweet treat, but it is so indicdative to Charleston. Blue Cheese, bacon, oysters and cabbage are so very Southern. This was one of the hardest yet tastiest challenges so far. I may need to patent this recipe! SO GOOD. :hot:

I was hoping to join this t-down but I am just shot from the move and have too much going on. I have some catching up with mrs. blues and my family obligations but I will be back next month for some hot blue and righteous scandalous, notorious throwdownishnessess.....

Ann I had an old Coney Island hotdog single dog steamer you placed the bun on top to get hot it was heaven as a kid. The 7-eleven hotdog cooker is taking no prisoners, big guns. Thanks the Charleston Chew was worth the price of admission to the dance. Yum!

Lygon St in Melbourne is famous for its Italian heritage and one of the best places to get pizza. And there is only one thing more passionate on Lygon Street than pizza and that's Aussie Rules and specifically Carlton.
