That's peachy man! Blurry pics though.

I've instructed my wife NOT to go into labor until after this weekend. She's due right now...but as the man of the house, I set the priorities.

Isn't it your hot dog that caused that anyway? Hehe. Congrats. Now post the doggage.

Ok Gang, here it is. Jay T's Mountville Marinated Microwave Hot Dogs

Ingredients:
Hot Dogs I tried to find franenfurters, but the store by my house didn't have tem.
Buns Luckly the store had them.
Dr. Pepper that's from my fridgarator since I always have that.
Habanero peppers
Cheese
BBQ sauce

Ok gang, the first thing I did was marinate the hot dogs to get the Dr. Pepper flavor into the hot dogs. I addeed a habanero for teh spiceenesxt!

After a good soaking (how long is good enough to marinate hot dogs?) I put them in the microwave and cooked them. But only halfway. I had to put them on the buns and melt the cheese.

Hold on, my mom is calling...

Ok I'm back. I was going to add some hot sauce in a bowl in the microwave to add hot steam to the air for teh hot dogs, but I forgot. Sorry.

Here's the final product. I did one with bbq sacue and mustard, and one with just ketchup in case the marinade made them too hot.

BTW, that single floating hab looks dangerous...

How do you think cavemen made microwave hot dogs before there was lectriciy?

The One, The Only...Carlton General Store Billy-Dog!

The story behind the 'dog-

There is a little country store just down the road from our house. For many years, it was run by Bill and his wife. Now Bill ain't just any ordinary store owner. He was the quintessential character! Kept a gun behind the counter, apprehended a thief during a night-time break in, installed a tap in the walk-in cooler (for his own personal use), invented a fishing fly (that is still being sold today). let the neighbors keep the extra beer kegs for their wedding in the walk-in cooler...and made several trips down to the store through-out the evening to fetch another one when the tap went dry. He'd give you the shirt off his back...and then try to charge you interest for using it!

Early in the 1980's Bill and his wife remodeled the store and installed the hotdog cooker. It has been serving up regular or spicy German hotdogs every day since. Almost 30 years, and it hasn't missed a beat! Bill made famous his version of the hot dog, which was a spicy German dog, with mayo, catsup and horseradish. Just walk in the door and ask for a Billy-dog and that's what you get.

Bill and his wife sold the store a few years ago, and since then Bill has moved on to the never-ending fishing season in the sky. He may be gone, but his legacy lives on.

Bill, mi amigo, THIS 'DOG'S FOR YOU!

Guess what Bill's favorite beer was?

Nice story SL. And a fine looking dog. TB, I don't know how much THP will appreciate it, but I had fun doing that one. It is up to him whether it counts or not.

Nice SL. I was confused and thought FD had hacked your account and posted his own under your name... then I saw the scrunchy.

SL, now that's a home town of a home town dog. Way to go with the props and the story. It looks damn tasty too.
