Yeah papain. Papain is a pain!
 
My marinade looks more like gelatin now.. is that from the enzym or what ever? Debating on adding a little baking soda to counteract it. I removed the pineapple until tomorrow.

Indeed it is.  Considering your intended use this should not be a problem.  You're a taco mf'er anyway, you'll make it work. ;)
 
Just waiting to shower and plop on the couch and watch you guy's cook ...
 
I was just talking about bromelain in a different thread - but yes, it'll turn it to a mush ...
 
D3 takes nice pics of plants, doesn't try as hard for food ...
 
I've seen some killer pics somewhere on the site, too ... maybe in the photo album thread in the social area? ... macro shots etc ..

Food just doesn't photograph as nice as nature. But tacos are like the only thing I really cook so i'm not going to give up this crown easily. Most of these fall on times i'm hurting for cash and for once I was given the green light to pick up a few things.... still had to keep it cheap or else i'd be smoking some skirt steaks with a chimichurii sauce.

Shall we expect you to work hard all Summer and bring something fierce in Fall once you've caught up from your time off work? LOL.
 
Having seen some of your DIY, maybe you should build THP a شاور ...
 
I'm pretty sure if you build one of those, you'll be Boss's favorite in 2016!

Google says that squigly arab gibberish is a shower. Not sure i'm going to put a shower in the basement or not. Was just going to do a cheapo bathroom in basement's fishroom with a toilet and big basin sink. I got all the plumbing down there for it but the water meter is right next to where the shower would be. Might just put a cabinet door in front of it.

had to catch the meats for my 3 tacos. taking the seafood route since it's what's freshest. Also, the lobster was caught on the 31st, before lobster season ended....he's sitting in the live well. For some reason, one of my papaya trees snapped in half....not sure if it weighed too much or if I have a pesky neighbor *they were stealing some before, i did find the upper half on their side*. Anyways, green papaya to me means thai papaya salad, a great side that offers freshness, crunchy and a good acidity. yellowtail snapper, porgy, mackerel. Making 3 different tacos,1 blackened snapper, fried porgy tacos (nice thick cut), and a lobster tempura taco.

I myself would be bringing Baja style fish tacos to this one but alas, it ain't to be.
 
Daughter in town and work schedule doesn't work out.
 
A damn shame really as I eat tacos almost ever day.
 
In fact I have leftover quinoa carrot cranberry feta taco mix and leftover ground chuck taco mix in the fridge right now.
 
Too bad I didna' take pix or have POL from earlier in the week.
 
I love tacos.
