beer Being Crafty

Zest (peel) makes the taste I like, truth be told ... and then hops.
 
I actually think blood orange is a bit of a truffle oil, if I'm being honest! :shh:
 
I've had seared blood orange that was delicious ... it had a crisped sugar and Chambord flambe job ... YUM! ...
 
Otherwise, I prefer other oranges ...
 
 
This beer had an artificial orange taste like a creamsicle... often when real foods are used in beer then end up tasting artificial... blueberry is another one... smells like boo berry lol.
 
i think it's when extract is used, but i've never met a blueberry beer i've liked yet ...
 
oh wait ... lies! ... not true ...
 
jalapeno blueberry porter from some little micro in the middle of the state ... was delicious ...
 
I had a homemade blueberry porter in Maine that was good, but nothing since...
 
Finally hit up the growler fill spot. Had a job in the area and had to stop by. Wanted Brash Pussy Wagon but they were all sold out so settled on some Cali Green.
