beer Being Crafty

Yeah. I used to follow the technique discussion over at Milk The Funk and Sour Beer Blog, because it's an interesting space, but these days I only listen to The Sour Hour podcast and haven't been following the other two (because reading, meh) ...

Getting into sour beer now would be to short change myself on a number of things I have planned to do with normally fermented ales, let alone getting into lagering - which is coming soon, since I proved out lagering temps in my new ferm system!

The first beers I ever liked were lagers, so I'm very much looking forward to getting into making some ...

Up first, dry-hopped IPL ...

cool.

Will you be posting updates in your brewing threads?

I think that some you could like some sours grant.  The majority of the ones I've tried mostly just taste like really tart juice with a hint of fruit flavor.  Lightly essenced like La Croix.

do. not. like.

honestly ...

do. not. even. want. to. like.

HAHA ...

I'm pretty open-minded in general, but I'm not looking for sour beer in my life at this point ...

Dry hopped IPL sounds good! I have a dedicated carboy I'm using for brett/lacto/pedio sours. That carboy won't come anywhere near the rest of my standard brewing projects.
