For those that brew, how can double dry hopping bring out more floral notes? Is it like toasting spices and more notes come out... so the double hopping does the same, kind of thing?
If you dry hop too long, it can throw a lot of grassy/vegetal notes. I uaven't got any really floral notes from a hop regimine, so maybe it's the type of hops used causing that. I don't dry hop for long periods of time. I did my first dry hopping on my NEIPA yesterday, and plan do the second dry hopping this Sunday. I'll probably crash out the hops on Wednesday.

Thanks for that, grassy was a word I was already thinking, not as in fresh cut grass but as in like a flower stem.. it's really hard to describe but it has to be from the DDH as I drink this all the damn time, regular. :)

Yes, the aroma when drinking is of marigolds, that grassy fall flower smell... hahahaha seriously tho. Nailed it. I like the regular way better.

I think the DDH or TDH like they did for 3rd anniversary just serves to intensify the hop flavors. The lupulin powder I think even intensifies it further.

I am sure Grant will know the science behind it.

Well my deduction is, DDH really changes a beer, I mean to the point you may not even like that beer anymore, so don't judge a brew by DDH, as, if they offer a regular, it may be the tits. Or the opposite. (+)(+) hahahaah
