Still giving up the beer for lent? My father in-law does that every year. 

I may do it but start late. I have too much beer on hand that is probably better while it is still fresh.

I've given up red meat a couple times, it's hard though unless everyone in the household is on-board too... Giving up beer for lent isn't a bad idea for heavy drinkers. Gives your liver a break and prepares it for another year hard drinking haha

I'd rather have a few beers a night with veggies, than slam my liver with booze before and after a one month dry spell every year.

Eating no meat is super cheap as well. I could pay for 2 full allotments of Aslin cans in a month by cutting out meat.

Looks like I'm definitely going to be hitting the Aslin can release tomorrow. One of the beers they are putting out is the Double Orange Starfish DDH. I can't wait to try that one out.
