Although I would never pay $50+ dollars for a bottle of BA beer, I do respect the time, inconvenience, and results of a good BA stout. It's a PITA to BA beer for sure, but the best stouts I've had are all BA.

It's been a bit of a revelation for me, but I honestly prefer imperial, non-BA stouts ...

Giant coffee or oatmeal or milk stouts ... 8.5-10.5% ...

I've evolved away from the 12-14% BA one's for some reason ...

Truth be told, I don't prefer BA TF to TF I don't think ...

It's great, but it doesn't drink as easily ...

I don't think anything tops an imperial oatmeal stout ... for me.

I'd love to try the Baptista version. The regular is pretty awesome for sure. I haven't tasted the BA Abraxas or Sump yet but the regular versions are awesome.
Every once in a blue moon I see a bottle at the hoity toity store. Then I stare at it for a couple minutes weighing all my options before I decide to buy something else.

You mean the line that goes to the outside right? Pretty sure, no, not at OH. If the line goes down the block though, you are not on their property drinking so if people do they are subject to a summons. Their storefront is only so wide, so maybe that's what you saw.

The one time I waited on a line...just to the corner of Smith...the residents garbage pails were filled with empty cans and red solo cups from people who were waiting.
