Then The Bum, tctenten, mater, and TGCM - whom all drink a bunch of shit I wouldn't select for myself ...

I can do sours but they're not my favorite. I found that once your pallet adjust, the sour aspect goes away and it starts to taste just like any other beer.

Little (<5%) Pico Pale took 3 oz DDH like a champ ... well, it took the first oz anyways ...

I will look for it in Montreal when we go there in a couple months. Looks like the LCBO carried it occasionally too

The Alchemist is a pupil of the actual creator of both NEIPA and Black IPA, Greg Noonan, of Vermont Brewery and Pub, who wrote the book on lagering (reportedly great water section, interesting correlation). Noonan gave Kimmel or whatever his name is the Conan strain, which hails from across the pond.

I'm checking out this place tonight that just opened up. Taquería and brewery, yes please! Crooked Run brews a good spread of brews. They have another brewery in Leesburg, VA. They make some IPAs, sours, and stouts. I'm looking forward to smashing a sour DIPA, and a couple tripa tacos in a few hours.

Ah hell yes! Other Half needs to team up with a good food truck that can just park out front. That truck would make a killing. There's a bar here that has a taco truck, they have yard space and the taco truck pulls in, so you get good beer and authentic Mexican on the cheap...

The Veil has a taco truck outside, which is freaking delicious. This spot has both the taqueria and brewery housed in one bigass space, so you can walk up and get your tacos, then walk over to the bar get your drink on. Match made in heaven IMHO.
