Thanks! I picked it up a few weekends ago at a brewery. It was $5 for a pint, or $8 for a pint and a complimentary glass. It was a no brainer at that point.

This sour DIPA, AKA Starfire is seriously good. It has a great balance of sour and hoppy.

May have been a month or so since my last beer.

New release and it is mighty fine. This is an amped up version of their session Boat beer.

In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have had a 9.4% beer for my first beer of the day, but oh well! I will start strong, and finish light.

LOL! Yeah, I think mine's like 6.2, but I know what you mean, haha! My problem is that I'm still pretty new to the "heavy hitters," and I'll end up slamming down a 12 pack of Imperial IPAs and wonder why I have a bangin' headache in the morning

And this is hitting the grill later tonight- with some chimi and onions,peppers,avocado,etc,etc 

And my bro who peeled that top sirloin cap off for me was like hey come out back I have something I think you will like to see

Nice! The guy next to me in line at Aslin had a few cans of Everything Gold in his cooler.

I ended up trading a couple of HB sour saisons for a can of Focal Banger.

HB sour saison. 16 different Brett strains, 3 saison Sacc strains, 4 Lacto Strains, amd Pediococcus. Aged for 3 months on 7 lbs. of blackberries. This is my personal masterpiece. Without a doubt the best beer I have ever brewed. It has a certain umami characteristic that I have only tasted in a few other sours. I would put this up against almost any commercial sour I have ever tasted.

My wife just brought this box of lamb home. I can't wait to tear into it! There is definitely pulled lamb barbacoa tacos going down this weekend with one of these shoulders.

I'm loving the top sirloin/picanha roast you have there!
