I would highly recommend pouring those Aslin beers in a glass. It really opens up the hop aromas trapped in that can. It's very impressive what they are able to accomplish with just hops, yeast, grain, and water.

Also, don't sleep on that HB Russian Imperial Ghost Stout! It packs a punch at 12% ABV, and has a great well rounded RIS flavor/mouthfeel, with a nice little kick from the peach bhuts at the end.

This Stellar Parallax is tasting like ripe canteloupe juice right now! I'm about to start whipping up some pepper jelly and pickled aji amarillo slices. Good thing I got all of my gardening done this morning, because it is a surprisingly hot Fall day.

I haven't had enything from Elysian, but I've enjoyed every IPA I've had from Bear Republic, including that one.

No, but I've had their "Space Dust" before. I remember it being surprisingly smooth (for +8%?) and going down dangerously fast, haha

TGCM, I wasn't gonna "waste" the beers you sent me today because I feel like I've got a fever coming on, so in between NyQuil doses, I'm getting my vitamin C from these, lol. I'll have yours when I'm feeling better and can really appreciate them, bud

Not bad, but there's something about the aftertaste. Tastes good going down, but ends up tasting like a lager

I usually drink whiskey/scotch if I get sick, but I'm sure a few DIPAs could do the trick!

The Mrs. relented on her mandate, allowing me another epic beer. Tragedy strikes, as the last unicorn vomit goes down the hatch! J/K, I know I'll miss this beer. What a masterpiece of a fruited IPA! I really hope Aslin brews it again...
