beer-brewing Being Crafty

TGIF..  had to do inventory at work tonight, felt like a thousand years long,. 
 
  a couple picklebacks for a starter kit, and broke out the Paulaner stein so I can do Firebreathers 2 at a time.

Awhile back I talked about a hop "sizzle" and it was suggested this was carbonation, similar to a coca cola burn, but I knew it wasn't that. I finally figured it out. It's lupulin powder. When ordering my latest growler, she was explaining the different brews to me, and when she got to this one, she said "It has lupulin powder, which leaves a little burn in your throat" or something like that. I hadn't made the connection yet. Until I was just sipping on it, and got that "sizzle" in my throat. BAM! Okay I am not crazy. The sizzle is real, and it is not carbonation. Definitely lupulin powder beers. Carry on while I enjoy this lupie brew! #sizzle
 
I love when I figure shit out. How come you guys didn't know to tell me???? kinda' snobs are u?  :rofl:
