I'm just messing man, to each their own. If it tastes good, drink it!

I'm sipping on some on some of this right now, and working the old wheels of steel.

Nom nom nom! This is a very solid 3rd IPA release from one of Aslin's fledgling brewers. They keep his recipes under the Progeny moniker until his 4th batch drops, then his recipes follow under the Aslin name. Each one of his IPAs has been solid, though, so I'm sure he'll contribute a lot to the Aslin fam over the years to come.

What if you sent a copy of your skyhopper recipe to Aslin and they brewed it? :hmm:
They did a homebrew conpetition like 6 months ago, where Aslin made the wort, and you could fill up two 6 gallon carboys to brew however you wanted. The final beers were submitted and judged, amd the winner got to brew a batch at the brewery, which got canned and sold.

Unfortunately they only had like 50 tickets for the thing, and it sold out instantly, so I didn't even get a chance

This is by far the best stout I've had from the UK/Ireland. It is dry, which is very different from most of the big barrel aged stouts from the States. This one is aged in 12 year old single malt whiskey barrels for 90 days, and bottle conditioned. It is absolutely F'ing delicious!!!
