You need to be shipping me beers. ;)

Walnut River Brewing, El Dorado, Kansas
High Beam IPA
7.7% ABV - Aggressive, Bitter, Caramel Malty .... flavor gets better as it sits.  Drinkable but not my favorite.

Bur Oak Brewing, Columbia, Missouri
Big Tree Double IPA, 7.6% ABV
Caramel pop followed by Hops, Unfiltered (lots of flotsam, jetsam and sea monkeys), tangy finish.  Odd at first .... gets better.

Still enjoying the local stuff...  I've had some "hits and misses" with this outfit, but the "hits" are indeed good. No exception with this one. Good smooth dark porter, only a tad bitter. Overall - a tasty offering. I do question the ABV, as its numerical listing seems oddly/coincidentally perhaps thematic...  Decent notwithstanding.  From Frothy Beard Brewing Company (Charleston, SC)
