beer Being Crafty

Tasty Belgian Dark. The 10% ABV is totally hidden. I got very little thyme, but the curaçao left a bit of pithiness on the lips and throat.

"Gouden Carolus Tripel was originally brewed for the Knights of the Golden Fleece in 1491. This golden specialty beer is brewed with the best Belgian ripe barley and hops, to preserve as much pure aroma as possible. Ideal with chicken, spicy dishes or fine, soft cheeses.

Elected Worlds Best Triple (World Beer Awards 2012)."

It's friggin delicious! No wonder they have been brewing this one for over 500 years

I just finished playing with the wine, this is a batch of strawberry and it should be 13% alcohol by volume(ABV). It's good enough to drink now but should get better with age, I'm hoping it last at least till summer time. The other batch is called Dragon Blood, I just added the clearing agent and racked it to mix it up.

Did you notice those classy screw on caps?

I guess I need labels now.

Poured one, about to taste...

Okay so it's really creamy, def an oat beer, smooth and crisp with less fruity notes than usual, the wheat thins it out a bit, it's not a super juicer but it's super drinkable! Nice indeed...

oat - creaminess, the cheese... wheat, the pasta... sauce = beer... baked ziti! I get it. :D
