wanted Bird/Habs - seeds nearly ready, Who wants?

hey bent, I picked three fat little pods of the birdhab you gave me at Byron - they're a chocolatey-browny-reddy colour. I can't wait to eat them!!!

they will turn a bright red in time...about 3 weeks after that they hit their peak heat. It is an evil little plant that makes you wait & wait & wait....
It has issues.

they're currently sitting in a bowl in the kitchen where they will stay until they turn red, or else!

btw, I'm making some more jerky this weekend. I'm trying a thicker cut of meat but the same basic recipe for now. if it works ok I'll send you some. if it works out really well I'm gonna eat it all myself ;)

What about some pictures? you can't talk about how peppers look without showing some p3Pp3R p0Rn.

They are truly pathetic to look at Omri. I have a plant in the ground for a year & still only 3" high. Do your nerd best with it, there must be a way to produce these tasty pods better.

I'm thinking if you can cross it to produce more pods faster would be a better angle, but go the way that feels good to for you. They your plants now. :)

But I'm asking for your advice.
So what would you say about Pequin? or maybe large Congo Habanero, it is supposed to be VERY productive and it will probably give it bigger pods and overall size.

Hmmm pequin/congo/bird/hab .... :evil scientist laugh:

I still think that a Big Jim x Long Choc Hab x Peter Pepper would be the ultimate pepper. I'm too lazy to give it a go but I'm happy to shout instructions from the sidelines if someone else wants to...

Just got my seeds today! Woohoo!
I will plant them tomorrow.

Just one question Bent, why did you go to all this trouble in packaging the seeds the way you did? Are the Australian postal dudes paranoid?

glad they got there o.k

it is hard to import stuff into Australia. I've found the birthday card works well for seeds everywhere. Easy & cheap to do too

Enjoy them.
