Blackfield

Well it's been a pretty boring day. stayed in, didn't have much to do... so I listened to a lot of music. anyhow, no matter how many artists and bands I listened to, Blackfield seemed to always come back. I guess it's that kind mood. well, I REALLY like Blackfield and thought it would be nice sharing it with you guys (and gals).

The only reason I even tried listening to Blackfield was Aviv Geffen, which is one of my favorite artists and more important the one who got me through my "rebellious years". he's a freakin' genius and Blackfield is no different.

Here's a little taste of what Blackfield is like, they're best song (IMO) - Pain:

Here's probably their most popular song - Hello:

Here's a "tuned-down" english version of one of Aviv's best songs EVER! this song had me going insane back in the days - Cloudy Now:

My pleasure. :)

I have Blackfield II primarily because of Steve Wilson and I've been a big fan of Porcupine Tree for a long time. (Steve is in both Blackfield and PT) PT's "In Absentia" from 2002 is one of my all time favorite albums. The track "Collapse the Light into Earth" makes the album worthwhile just by itself. I started listening to Opeth in the late 90's and Steve's association with them originally got me into PT. All good bands, though Opeth by far the heaviest, especially their early output. Omri, we have similar musical taste with regards to metal and rock.
