You eat the Benton's like that, but I wouldn't be eating it from the grocery aisle that way ...
I guess it's depends on how it was cured ... and in that case, it's tending more towards ham a bit, like Benton's ...
So, for me, it's either tasty cured ham cooked lightly to perfection a la Benton's, or it's undercooked bacon, which case I'd like like it rendered a little tougher in a perfect world ...
But honestly ... there's a double CHEESE burger, and poppers and onions, so I'd just chew-chew swallow and not give it much thought ...
